Key Concept

Noel Tichy is a true management guru, having co-authored books with the likes of Warren Bennis and Paul Danos. He was a professor at the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business, and is best known for his development in the 1980s of the action learning methods now used widely across management education programs. He introduced action learning to Crotonville, GEs ground-breaking corporate university in upstate New York, while GE was being led by Jack Welch. Here he is in discussion with Steve Mostyn, Associate Fellow at Oxford Saïd Business School.
