Ideas for Leaders launches Innovation Leadership Circle Cohort with Innovation Ecosystem

[22nd June 2017]

Thriving in a VUCA environment is a core topic for Ideas for Leaders and our partners at Innovation Ecosystem. Now we are teaming up to deliver a program specifically designed to help leaders navigate their most significant business challenges.

Innovation Ecosystem recently published its 50th podcast, offering insights on the most challenging issues faced by leaders - and tools to help tackle them. This led them to develop the Innovation Leadership Circle (ILC), an exclusive program aimed at those leaders in organizations who are told to "take it from here" once strategic direction had been set. But taking it from here in a VUCA environment can mean that existing experience and expertise won't be enough. Leaders are required to adapt, to deliver "small i innovations" to achieve breakthrough results. The ILC has been built to make this happen.

The program works like this:

  • you enter a safe yet challenging space created to help you reflect on, and co-create, solutions to your most important business challenges
  • you join a diverse and remarkable group of cross-industry peers with a wide range of experiences and perspectives relevant to your situation
  • you develop new leadership skills to allow you to outperform in a VUCA environment
  • you become part of an ecosystem of accomplished leaders across disciplines, geographies, demographics and sectors
  • An Ideas for Leaders cohort of the ILC will take place in November in London. Space is limited to 8 places and applications can be made at

Take a look on our video wall at feedback from participants discussing the enormous value they gained from attending recent ILC sessions.

Ideas for Leaders is excited to offer you the opportunity to take part in this powerful program.

Ideas for Leaders agrees new partnership

    [14th June 2017]

    Prof Moodrad Choudhry
    Dr Eve Poole

Ideas for Leaders is pleased to announce a new partnership with BTRM, who award the Certificate of Bank Treasury Risk Management. Drawing on its global network with the top 50 business schools, Ideas for Leaders will launch a new “Informed Leadership” module for BTRM’s next cohort, which starts in October 2017.

The BTRM Certificate is the global benchmark for bank Treasury, Finance and Risk professionals and is used by major organizations including the Bank of England, Barclays Bank, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, Fitch Ratings and UBS.

BTRM Course founder, Professor Moorad Choudhry, “It is obvious that the cadre of senior professionals and business leaders must demonstrate sound technical expertise; this is one reason why BTRM was created in 2015. But being a high-calibre professional does not automatically make you a good leader. It strikes me that there is a clear link to organizations that invest in developing leaders and the level of success they achieve.

We are delighted that Eve Poole, Ashridge Associate at Hult Business School has agreed to present the first module, which will combine Eve’s deep leadership expertise with Ideas content and provide the cohort with a valuable insight into how we can become more effective leaders.” Eve Poole is author of several publications, including her new book, “Leadersmithing”.
